The foundation of Magnanni footwear lies in its tradition of fine craftsmanship. Shoes are made using traditional techniques now uncommon in the industry due to the high level of specialization and the extensive knowledge of the trade they require. Only the highest quality leather is used, mainly from France, Italy and Spain. Select leathers such as deerskin and exotic skins are also used, as in the Croc-trimmed Slip-ons, style #3175 (right).

Magnanni uses the Bologna construction technique, adding exceptional value to each shoe. This is a complex (and unique) way of manufacturing footwear which provides your foot with unequalled comfort and flexibility without sacrificing a shoes elegant design. The foot is wrapped 360 degrees with leather, similar to a glove to your hand. This eliminates the cumbersome mid-sole and makes each shoe flexible and comfortable from the first wearing.
