The stiffened collar. It is distinctively dressy with or without a sport coat, in the dining room or on the course.

The pocket. Not every polo comes with a pocket, great for holding a golf score card, a pair of reading glasses or a $100 bill.

The longer, 4-button placket. All other polos have 2 ... maybe 3 ... buttons on a short placket. Our polo has four buttons and the placket is longer for maximum flexibility and personal preference.

The fabric. It is a two-ply pima cotton that is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and retains its shape longer.

The cut. Today's styles tend to be tight fitting and are curiously referred to as "athletic fit". The cut on this polo is full, allowing for freedom of movement, airflow between fabric and skin and forgiveness when we are no longer "the way we were" but still athletic.
